Is Minato A Pure Jinchuriki?

I mean he went tailed beast mode already. Does he qualify as a fully fledged jinchuriki like Naruto and Bee? I only ask this because pseudo-jinchuriki's can exist.

Yes, since Naruto only has half like Minato and he can do the same thing in an instant with no diff.
Probably only edo, but I doubt it because he was dying when he got it sealed (well died).

Jokes aside, yes, Minato is technically a Perfect Jinjuriki. Most likely during the 17 years he spent in the RDS with Kurama's chakra he most likely found a way to establish dominance... Though it was most likely not until the Kurama halves re-linked that Dark Kurama worked with Minato (making him the equivalent of Naruto Jinjuriki wise).


Though on the other hand, you could theoretically argue both Naruto and Minato are Extreme Psuedo Jinjuriki for neither have the full body of Kurama (each hold only half of Kurama. Still, considering the Sentient existence, I will simply assume that counts as a Bijuu.... thus, yes Minato is a perfect Jinjuriki.

Well now I wouldn't say that...I'd say that Minato's situation filled in a "what if" scenario. I don't think this broke any Naruto lore rules.

a psuedo jin is made from a portion(usually small) of a bijuus chakra.

As kurama was split yin and yang, there became 2 kuramas, and as such the jins of either half, are full jins.

If you means that the Jinchuriki can transform into full Bijuu Mode;
then Minato is not 'Pure Jinchuriki'.
This is because Kurama had ACCEPTED Naruto, thus Naruto could change into FULL Kurama size.
Just like Bee + 8-tailed beast, as what Naruto want.

I've been thinking the same thing. After reading some threads on NB, I think it's because Naruto has the Yang half of Kurama, so the speed and strength and the darkened facial whiskers are only unique to him, whereas Minato having the Yin Half can go into Tailed Beast Mode and his eyes change. I think, after getting the Yin Half, Naruto can transform into Kurama completely like Bee transforms into Gyuki. And, probably Rikudou Sennin devised some seal, through which he could appear as chakra to the Jinchuuriki who had the complete control over Kurama. Thank God, Kishi kept the Bijuu Mode abilities unique to Naruto, i.e. the appearence, speed and raw strength! :x3:

Either Naruto and Minato are both perfect jinchuriki, or they are both pseudo jinchuriki. I will go with perf jins.

That is a highly debated issue as people have been wondering whether Naruto is actually a Jinchuriki since he only has half of a Kyubi. Everyone in the series calls him a Jinchuriki but they dont know that he only has half the Kyubi.

Personally I think he is a full Jinchuriki just for the fact that a tailed beast is sealed inside of him, which is the only qualification of a Jinchuriki. Now to call him a psuedo Jin would be to question whether Kurama in his current state is a Tailed Beast. If your answer is "Yes" then there you have it. If your answer is "No" then you should have a very good reason for believing that.

Keep in mind that:

Jinchuriki = Person with a Tailed Beast sealed within them. (Killer Bee)(Yagura)(Han) etc...

Pseudo-Jinchuriki = Person with Tailed Beast Powers/Chakra, but no tailed beast sealed within them. (Kinkaku & Ginkaku)(Current Gaara)

Im not saying its an easy decision, but I personally think both are currently Jinchuriki. Kurama may currently be 2 separate entities, but both entities are Tailed Beasts, with their respective Jinchuriki.
