Is Marvel and DC fandom insane?

People describe both fandoms of comicbookfilms as cult like behaviour, when people critizise them people get offended and feel really insulted. So is this normal? Like is this a problem?


I like these movies but I don't really get worked up about comments people make about them, and I don't like just like Marvel movies or just like DC movies, I like everything.



I know I glorify Itachi for no reason so maybe that's similar.
I'm not a therapist I don't know.


And I'm talking movies, not comics.

What I said, if you critizise marvel or dc then people get really angry at you and imsults you or something. Some people act violent or stupidly. Some people look at how audiences react to marvel movies and call that a religious experience, there are dc fans who makes thesises on bvs and they think it's completely objective, like they somehow calculate that you need to be intelligent to enjoy the movie and if you don't you are not smart enough.

You should've posted a video or something if you have something about it, but lately you just need to ignore everything in order to remain normal - but since i was talking about characters and were just checking a google , im not really sure but this wolverine

Wait dude, are you telling me this retard got offended and he made all this video to explain the comments of the people and it critics ? As for me i didnt like Man of Steel the movie and i can tell you so many reasons about it - First of all this guy i dont know brate, i just dont like him, and i found him so annoying while other 99% of the people like him? Ok i guess we have our opinions - but anyways , first biggest mistake of Clark Kent and the Difference between CK and Superman is that CK suppose to be funny (in sort of geek way act) While in this movie even when he is reporter or Superman he acts the same -

As for example Christopher Reeve played that act and the goofy reporter actually made a perfect mask for Superman and when he was CK he was actually a CK and when he is Superman thats when Lois Lane falls for a guy

I see it like this, if you only a fan of one and hate on the other then they are part of the fandoms that are cancer to people and don’t let the rest enjoy them. I’m a fan of both and a enjoy both, DC more than marvel.

Hardcore marvel comic and movie fan, i enjoy seeing the new spins and takes /views/aspects of original stories. Plus all the eggs and other fun stuff theyre doin.
(Still havent seen IW yet)

i like dc as well but they are not doing the movies any justice

i think the fan bases have always felt this strongly, but now they get to enjoy it on screen and its all much more advertised, reaching more people.
But yes I agree, as with all things, sports, music, movies, anything at all, people are going to be over the top.
