Is Mangekyou Sharingan Unique abilities passed down?

I've been wondering, since they 3 have Susanoo, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, is this jutsu's exclusive to Itachi/Sasuke and Madara only?

Does each Mangekyou Sharingan have a unique ability?

By the looks of it I'd say yes, Shisui is known to have Mangekyou Sharingan and a special and powerful genjutsu Kotoamatsukami which is only exclusive to him, he had 2 MS's so why didn't he have Susanoo? And why doesnt Madara have Kotoamatsukami.

Same thing with Tobi/Kakashi's MS's, they seem to be special and apparently they dont have the Susanoo that Itachi, Sasuke or Madara possess.

Im getting the impression Mangekyou Sharingan abilities is passed to to generation to generation.

Example:

Madara > Sasuke/Itachi - Susanoo, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu.

(And perhaps) Kagami(Tobi) > Obito > Kakashi - Kamui

where did madara display tsukuyomi and amaterasu, I think each family of uchiha clan will have different abilities in MS (except susanoo, )

and each member with MS can manipulate one power at it's highest level
itachi -tsukuyomi
sasuke -amaterasu
madara -susanoo

How would Kakashi know how to do Susanoo, Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi - all uchiha techniques ?
His chakra wouldn't even be able to support it either U_U

As for Obito, he died before he could even activate MS , so how would we know if he could use these techniques either?
We can't base it on what we've seen from Kakashi because he is not an Uchiha - so the sharingan's potential obviously differs greatly- because of larger chakra draining , lack of knowledge on Uchiha abilities etc..

As for Tobi, we do not know whether he can do these techniques either, he hasn't really been given a chance U_U
He randomly introduced a new jutsu yesterday, whats not to say he has been holding back on more techniques like Susanoo, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi ?

Also about Shisui, we never got to see him in a full on battle so we don't know much of his other abilities

the **** had kakashi 1 ability


u need 2 (Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu) to unlock Susano'o
and Kakashi just had the Ability that gaves him his Sharingan (the 3rd one)
and that is s/t and Shisui had Kotoamatsukami as his 3rd one

btw Eyes with Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu are Rare

:sy: You need two MS techs not just two Ms eyes and where did Itachi use Susanoo after he used Izanami. Be quiet. Tobi already said Susanoo is even rare among MS users and Itachi was suprised Sasuke even got Susanoo.

Well the real question should be, do you need to have ameterasu and tsukoyomi to unlock susanoo?

I thought it had to be Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi for Susanoo. If you know the Japanese myth that it's based off of.
