Is Magi good ?

I'm thinking of starting the manga Magi if its good. Could someone summarize it for me and tell me whether it is or not ?
All I know about it is that its like an Alladdin theme. xd

It's a great, balanced adventure, with an excellent theme and very interesting plot. It is worth the reading, trust me.

And the plot itself, well, they are just using the names of Arabic-folk tales to attract attention, it has nothing to do with what you know.
