Or is it a skill that can be used without the rinnegan?

To be clear im referring to the technique that they used to become the juubi jin.

Incorrect the db even refers to it as a kkg

Ninjutsu, Kekkei Genkai - Six Paths Ten-Tails Coffin Seal
No rank, no range, supplementary
Users: Obito Uchiha, Madara Uchiha

Using one's own body as a yorishiro
Not sublimating into a perfect being

⬇ The moment before he was discarded by Madara, Obito feigned the "Samsara of Heavenly Life" and formed the seals for the "Six Paths Ten-Tails Coffin Seal".

This technique let's the user possess the power of a jinchuriki by taking in the ten bodies of all tailed beasts. However, with one body already being hard to control, it's almost impossible to bring them all under one's control. This inevitably results in the collapse of the user's ego. However, very rarely, only one person that possessed innate suitability and acquired mental strength, is allowed to wield a world-shaking power, feared even as the "Nation-Building God"!

➡ Condensed and drawn into the body of the technique's user, the gathered tailed beasts make the true power bloom.

⬆ Obtaining the power of the ten bodies of the tailed beasts is the same as owning the power of the Six Paths Senjutsu. It's also accompanied by black orbs that are similar to the "Tailed Beast Ball".

TN: Multiple things this time:
1) A yorishiro is an object to which a spirit is drawn or summoned.
2) No idea if the second part of the bolded sentence is correct. It doesn't make sense to me.
3) Same goes for the last sentence of the main body and the ➡ sentence. Translations by another translator can be found here.
4) Yes, the Truth-Seeking Orbs that accompany the transformation are really said to be similar/comparable (似た nita) to the Tailed Beast Ball

Its obviously a rinnegan technique.

Bingo. Another reason why Hagoromo was so paranoid about keeping it from resurfacing--because HE'S the only person who could seal it.

"Six Paths" - also could mean Six Paths Technique - which is only accessible by those bestowed Rinnegan.

That's the first time I see this translation and it seems cool. TSB comparable to TBB can be true since a TSB Can like a bomb plus having more abilities... Remember when Juubito V1 used one and exploded?

Thats we they make databooks...

A good manga should be self-explanatory, so I see databook as sells booster personally

So there are two answers to this question just like naruto vs sasuke also has two answers

Naruto vs sasuke

1-0 in idealogy

0-4 in fights
