Is Madara's meteor meant for suicide?

Is Madara's meteor meant for suicide like Vegeta's Final Explosion or Deidara's C0? Obviously, Madara would've been turned into a pancake if he wasn't Edo, so is the point of using it while alive is to take people down along with himself? Or, no, his Perfect Susano'o can withstand the meteor, so it's not a suicide technique?

No it's pretty much designed to take down as many people as you can with your last breath, including yourself.

But if you're an Edo, you don't have to worry about that.

Yep, he would survive with Susano'o. Gaara's sand and Dodai's lava were able to block it.

Only reason why he made it that big was because he's an Edo(in my opinion). I'm pretty sure he'd be more careful with the size, his location, etc. If he wasn't an Edo.

I think he just made it that big because he was edo and he knew he could kill himself. Like many people said if madara wasn't and edo he would fight differently

NO.. LMAO at you people saying yes, he used the meteorite at first just to play with the Kages knowing that he is Edo and won't die if it hits him, but the meteorite is not a suicide skill...its a Rinnegan skill idk what its for.

PS could probably withstand it any he could always make the meteor smaller to reduce the impact area

he can use smaller meteors if he is mortal. and if he uses perfect sussano he can probably make his meteors that size or somewhere close to it and survive
