As a villain most definitely since he has no room for character development and his return would not enhance the story in any way. His character is already resolved and his dreams of being the savior only ended up creating a bigger problem with the entire world becoming Zetsu. His dream of peace was a means for war for a higher deity.

As a redeemed character he would have a small chance but he'll just get the Piccolo/Vegeta effect since he already reached his chakra cap as seen when he bloated out with just a portion of Kaguya's power. Still there is little left to his character so it would not contribute to the plot whatsoever. I'd wager either Sasuke or Orochimaru become final villain.

I just can't believe that Madara will just disappear like that. Kishimoto always makes a more dramatic ending for each character.

He's pretty dead. If somehow when kaguya is defeated her possession of his body fades and leaves back madara again he may come back.

Madara is now in the after life and now knows He was used by Kaguya and Black Zetsu,if He were to come back He would not be the same now that He knows He was fool and made fun off.
