And no, I don't think he is purely evil and whoever believes that this giant flashback that we are getting is just for entertainment, is wrong. I stopped believing he was evil when the hokage started talking about him going insane over losing his brother and when I saw his face in his battle against Hashi after 'their brothers' were mentioned. Then things went on and on, that cannot be for nothing. Kishi's intention most likely is redeeming the Uchiha, once and for all.

I thought he played a part in the destruction of Kohona as one of the steps of resurrecting Madara, I'm not sure. I never stated he wasn't good I just simply said killing to achieve your goals isn't good. And he is a anti-hero in every literally sense of it's wording :|

Domination only seems evil to the ones being dominated. The guy that conquered the warring states of what now know as China was looked at as evil at the time that domination created one of the most powerful countries in world, and same with USA. World domination just means you think you can do a better job than the people running it. And hell he's already done a better job so far, no matter how you look at it Tobi forced all villages unit and stop fighting amongst themselves

the question here is, Is Madara Uchiha truly evil?
If you take in consideration of everythings hes done It seems so but look closer.

First his brother whom he had promised to protect with his life died willing for his brother. ( I believe this due to recent chapters) (he also already lost 3 brothers when he was younger)

His reason for betraying konoha was because he felt that the Uchiha were being overruled by the senju (completely true)
After finally deciding to betray konoha The entire uchiha clan betrayed him and sided with the senju.

years After that they decided to plan a coup d'tat which caused them to be wiped out entirely by there soul and prodigy Itachi uchiha with the assistance of obito uchiha (whom only did it to help madara get his revenge for them betraying him)

He "died" at the hands of his best friend hashirama senju whom of which he has been sorta of in a gai - kakashi relationship with.

Then he gave is eyes to a young child (nagato) so that he could be later revived (via rinne tensei) by nagato.

Not to mention that he had obito form the akatuski with nagato to gather all the bijuu and revive the juubi.

Then he was to be revived by nagato and become the jinchuriki for the juubi and cast Infinite tsukuyomi on the moon casting a genjutsu on the entire world.

but in reality the moons eye plan isn't evil in its self look what zetsu says right here:

so Basically Madara's Not evil he just wants everyone to be happy. U_U

I agree with this. I believe that when he kills people (fodder, rapping Kage) he does it because he has the same logic as Obito. Once Tsuki no Mi is cast, it won't matter. Everyone will be alive and happy. Killing has no consequence in his eyes because they'll be back once the Mugen Tsukiyomi has been completed.

OK, it is shocking seeing him as a pretty normal kid and I will not deny he is not only in the top10 of the strongest, but also in the top10 of the most interesting characters. His really interesting personality is further strengthened by the fact we have seen him in many different phases of his life and we have seen the many changes he has been through: from a peace-seeking kid, to a power hungry adult and to a border delusional and embittered old man.

Madara undoubtedly has one of the most dynamic personalities, one that has changed a lot throughout his lifetime and one with different aspects: wouldn't fight seriously with a child, yet butchers -mercilessly- the adults, see what happened to the kages. As unique as the above characteristics make him, they never even once justify his actions. He is perfectly capable of killing thousands and he doesn't care. Hopefully, Kishimoto will explain what made him like that.

I agree his earlier years were different but his means now are evil..Be it however people wanna phrase it how can u force people to live in a illusionary world where everything is great and the dead can come back to life but their not really alive?? from loosing his brother, being killed by his bbf, "If" ( which i hope isn't possible) for the love Mito Uzumaki, Being abandon by his clan and then swaying others to commit genocide on his entire clan..There's no justification for his evil deeds no matter how he felt or how he was hurt..He's a good guy turned wacko evil genius to me.

So if your entire family Disowned you for standing up for them what would you do? Madara only knew violence he grew up in constant war if their was problems with someone its kill or be killed simple as that

If you think about it he's done more for the shinobi world than any other kage. He brought the shinobi world together and now the kages and all the ninjas can fight together and forget about all the past war and all the past betrayals and such.





What if Madara created this war to get all the nations together . Nope nvm Prolly not. LOL.
