If you think about it ever since he became a Jin it's like he got weaker I know he doesn't have his over rinnegan and all but even if he gets it back I can't see it making a big difference because he's getting arse rammed by naruto and sasuke and they are barely even trying... Think about it he didn't even get a hit in yet he's already been bisected! AND NARUTO AND SASUKE ARE BARELY TRYING didn't even show much of their new abilities susanoo and bijuu mode nor the sages jutsu he gave them. I think madaras body is going to get taken over by kaguya

The fact that he smiled and liked the fact that gai hurt him suggests it. As well as the fact that he only ran from a battle when he was hopelessly backed into a corner by sasuke and naruto. If he was serious from the start he wouldve gotten his other eye sooner.

No dude he was dead serious he said he almost died. He wasn't caught off guard by night dragon it's just that he couldn't even hope to stop it. You say he's serious now but he's only used one fodder lightning attack he was prolly trying to use limbo on guy the whole time but couldn't because its too slow.
