No, Madara has been relying on the Juubi for chapters now, The Solo King will always be Itachi.

Haters gonna hate... Madara soloed all beasts and soloed all Kages, and soloed all protagonists too but Plot no Jutsu brought them back w/ 2nd chance. + the only full fight Juubidara had, was w/ one person, that is Gai.

Itachi is always the Solo King. There are other positions higher than Solo King. The Solo Scale is relative to Itachi.

Obito lost his chance at solo king.

Madara will solo him eyes-closed

Itachi's genjutsu (his most op skills) are contacted through visual means of his target (you can't look into Itachi's eyes or his arms).

Not only we don't know on whether or not Itachi's genjutsu will affect Madara (he is top Sharingan master after all), but Madara can summon most powerful MS technique without eyes.

In worst case scenario where hypothetically Madara loses hell knows why, Madara can Izanagi out. Itachi can not (no Hashi cells in him)
