I don't think so, IMO he's dead anyways so he doesn't give a **** and he knows Obito will carry out the plan. Also IMO he sees himself in Obito.

In a way I think Madara may be relived that this is the turn of events. Because if he where to have become the Juubi's host he would have been on a hole new power scale from Hashirama and there battle would have been to boring.
