Well, I have heard MANY people claim that Kishi said in an interview that Madara was a "sexist" Whether this is true or not I am not sure, but from the way fans reacted towards the matter I assume, that in some ways it is. As you can tell, he said in one chapter fighting Tsuande, he ridiculed her by saying something with being a woman makes you weak. Something along the lines of that anyway. He was either
A) Just saying that to get her angry so she fights better as he finds her weak or
B) Really meant it as possibly back in his day, female ninja weren't looked up upon as "real ninja".
Personally, with the way Kishi has been writing at times it makes you wonder if he even feels that way towrds women. Not saying Kishi is, just some things that hit you in the face make you think. Yes, I KNOW it's a shonen manga, but so what? Why can't you have strong females in them? No excuse personally. I mean Kishi, doesn't have a GF as he claims it is "hard for him to talk to them" and he doesn't know how to make females characters, which I find odd. I mean, just make the girl of your dreams Kishi, that is, if you have one...hmm to much excuses personally. Anyways, since Madara is HIS character, either throwing a bit of sexisim in their or not shows a bit of side to the creator imo. Afterall, when you make a character most of the time, you put some of yourself in them, whether small or big (Such as Kishi said Naruto is ALOT like him in ways) Either way, I feel it teaches young boys who read that the wrong thing, almost saying that it's "ok" to be sexist to women at times. I dunno I find that weird and just not right on Kishi's end. So maybe that's why Madara appears homo to you? The inclusion of him possibly favoring male ninja more might make you think that. I dunno. Imo, it doesen't really matter. I just don't like Madara now for what he said to Tsunade, made him seem "low" lol
