It depends on your preferences and what you're looking for in a laptop/computer.
I'm used to the flexibility of having a Windows PC. I don't feel like I'd benefit from what mac has to offer as much as someone else would.

Overall I'd say it's at least worth looking at.

What kind of mac are you looking for?
13'' retina, the price is much better now because Apple decreased the price.

The retina has the best resolution in the world currently. I have never been a fan but this computer looks pretty good. It's either this, Asus G75VW or Asus zenbook prime.

I'm on forums, facebook, twitter, youtube, watching series and it goes on. I also want to play but at the same time i'm unsure because.. Well I have PS3 already.

Let's remove the gaming, would Asus zenbook prime 13,3'' (Ultrabook) or Macbook pro retina 13(,13?)'' be better? I can photoshop

Yes it is worth every penny. I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a chance. (I believe Best Buy has a 30days return policy) It is true that it is more expensive than other brands but I advise you to give it a chance. Check out the computer and decide for yourself if it's worth it.

Do you get photoshop free?
Nope. I've had a MacBook Pro 13" for about 2 and a half years now. It's been amazing. I haven't had any problems with it that weren't caused by me (spills). Paying to get a Mac repaired is insane. If you get one, you have to treat it like a new born baby. The Macs are over priced, but not by a lot. You won't be able to play many games on it, but every Apple computer has an ability called 'Boot Camp'
BC lets you install other OS such as Windows or Ubuntu. You can use some Linux programs on a Mac too. If you aren't too pressed for money, then I'd say try out Macs. They're really simple and enjoyable. No blue screen or having to ctrl alt delete to fix the computer. If you are pressed for cash and you aren't willing to take a gamble, I would buy a fully loaded HP laptop for the same price as a Mac.

If you really want a rebranded FreeBSD operating system, just do a hackintosh build and save several thousand dollars.
