Ok so I know in both anime and manga they referred to his fruit as a paramecia type but I've been thinking they call him a rubber man, and he can't get hurt by most things and his whole body is rubber like other logia users. We have also seen another fruit ( the yami yami fruit) that even though its a logia type he can't fully turn into his element. Also what other power was luffy given expect just becoming rubber and in some way that could be his "element". Idk what do you guys think?

no he isnt logia as he can still be phisically hit.... logia cant be phisically hit and recieve no damage watsoever but luffy does... even tho it isnt much
only way to hit a logia user is with haki

His fruit is a Paramecia-type, as stated. Just because his power naturally blocks out other powers doesn't make it a different class of fruit.
Lol half and half that made me laugh
But like I stated he gained the power to be rubber and became a rubber man, that kinda doesn't really fit with the other paramecia types,
Also yami yami fruit is a logia type and black beard can get phisically hit.
Could black beard fully turn into his element?
What's your point as we could see there are different types of logia effects do we fully understand no.

Understood but I never got that, with all the other paramecia type they all gained some type of ability what ever it is wether it's the bara bara fruit, the hana Hana fruit, the suke suke fruit, the mane mane fruit, any and all paramecia type not just becoming an "element"
What do they refer every logia type as they say he ate the suna suna fruit or mera mera fruit or moko moko fruit, they are now a sand man, fire man, smoke man. Their ability is the element they were given just as luffy was.

Well, Paramecia types can be mistaken by Logia's because they either:
1. Change the texture / body of the user but doesn't allow you to create limitless amounts of it, exterior to your body; such as Luffy's Rubber Rubber, Mr 1's Blade Blade and, speculation only, Jozu's Diamond body.
2. Allow you to create limitless amounts of the substance, but doesn't change your body/texture; such as Magelan's Poison Poison or Mr 3's Wax Wax.
Logias allow you both those properties. You become and are able to produce your element/substance limitless.
Although a bit weird, Blackbeard's fruit did change his body to darkness. The thing is, since darkness absorbs everything, he also absorbs all the pain, hence why he gets hit. Or at least that's what Oda told us.
I do think everything would be a lot easier to just say Dark Dark Fruit is a Paramecia, it just doesn't have the grandeur a "Logia" has.
