Is Kylo Ren even a sith apprentice?

Something I just thought of, it seemed so because of the red saber and the black outfit and being allied with the Empire(First Order, Dark side) but now I'm not so sure.

I was reading a Yahoo article(yahoo's not the important part) and the author said "The new Darth Vader-Kylo Ren" While that phrasing irked me it made me think, Ren isn't Darth anything yet so is he really even an apprentice yet? He's reporting to Snoke who seems like he's a Sith(don't think it was ever actually said, not that it had to be at this point). It would seem as if he is Snoke's Apprentice with Snoke real name being (in fan theories) Darth Plageius, so then he would need a Darth Apprentice and yet Ren isn't called darth anything in the entire first movie. Plus he has no lightning powers.

It also seemed Snoke was suspect of Ren and almost sure that Ren's good nature from his parents will eventually affect him. It seemed more to me that Snoke was using Ren and not fully training him as he thought he would defect and he had hoped to use his lineage against the Republic maybe.

So my question/thought is, Do you guys think Ren is receiving full Sith training from Snoke or being used? Also another thought, why was Rey so much stronger than him if he had been receiving full/good training?

I highly doubt Snoke is teaching him actual combatant skills, just luring him in Palpatine style.

They don't have a close connection. I doubt he is a Sith of any calibur and is in early days of recruitment considering his lightsaber looks homemade & his skills with a lightsaber are rightfully below par for a Sith/Jedi.

Naturally strong in the force and trained by Luke explains the adequate use of the force.

Darth ren doesn't sound to bad. Perhaps snoke is just slowly controlling him bribing him perhaps sane with annakin. I believe rey is a skywalker, it would explain how she is good with a sabre has a strong force and is good at flying. Like annakin. People also forget she will have some form of combat skill.

The way they directed it I think they are straying away from the whole sith thing and making it broader into light vs dark side

I agree in a way about her being skywalker. I think she's going to be Ren's daughter and thus have skywalker blood through Leia. Think of it, she has Force through her "father" Ren and "Grandmother" Leia, she looks like Leia, she gets her piloting skills and mechanical knowledge from her "grandfather" Han, heck she even knew how to fix up the Millennium Falcon, she had an impressive accuracy rate for her first time with a blaster(something her "grandfather" Han is known for)

I know Luke's a strong possibility but I think it'd be better if it was Ren's daughter and when we see her being left in that flashback it's Ren leaving to the dark side.

I know it doesn't have darth in it but isn't kylo ren his sith name since his real name is Ben
And it'd be kinda funny if Rey turns out being Luke's daughter and he's like "Rey I am your father"

**** Disney & EA: "Star Was"

Destroyed Cadeus' character & Skywalker/Solo family structure.

And not by killing Han.

Maybe snoke wanted ren to complete his training so he can become his apprentice or something. I'm assuming if the sith still fellows the rule of 2.

I recall reading an article tat he isn't he's just a dark force user. And I'm glad. I don't want Kylo Ren to be a stereotypical whitewash Sith.

I agree with this. It seems like the traditional Sith order is having a change in methods where there are just practitioners of the Dark Side that fight for a new republic. The rule of Two wasn't always the way of the Sith.

Kylo is Snoke's apprentice. I assume he hasn't earned the title of Darth yet. snoke is probably using him, I think Han has reason to believe that. Regarding Rey, she is just that op lol. Kylo was not in good condition he got hit by Chewbacca's laser crossbow and Finn got a good strike on his shoulder.

Kylo killed Luke's other jedis. He must have been skilled to do that unless he sneaked up on them.

The Sith as we know them are dead.

Unless Snoke ends up being Plagueis, the line of Sith that lead up to Palpatine are gone forever, and everyone else is a pretender, or something else entirely.

What are you talking about?

Pretty straightforward. Franchise is ****ed up. The movie is a fail in character development and many other areas. The battlefront is severely lacking in content and maybe i should throw in dice in lieu of EA but they produce regurgitated trash yearly anyway.

Just as well as it should be clear he's an apprentice of presumably Snoke. Ren's not a master yet and seemed on the cusp being fully committed in himself and of completing his training which killing his father/familial ties was a huge part of.

Lol he keeps copying and pasting it in every Star Wars thread

Youre wrong. Learn to read in full unless you enjoy willful ignorance...

Oh and fuxk krylo ren... retxon or not hes a weak and unnecessary ripoff/defamation of Jacen Solo/Darth Cadeus' character and disney rlly mangled the head canon families.

Battlefront was bad, but the movie was amazing. Character development was great, especially with Kylo and Finn. Don't know what you're talking about, but to each their own.
