Is Kurama's power that Naruto uses really borrowed?

Is Kuramas power really borrowed? I mean Naruto is his jinchuriki and is only right to use it like all the other jinchuriki have done. Also with Kurama sealed in his body its not like he can do anything better with it than give it to Naruto
