Sakura was Sakura Official Apprentice,Naruto was a freshly made Genin who inspired a pre Academy Konohamuru. Plus it was Naruto who convince Tsunade to come back to Konoha to become the 5th Hokage. If It were not for Naruto Sakura would never have ben Tsunade Apprentice in the First place.

Just want to add that Konohamaru hasn't cried since his grandads funeral when he was a kid, as far as I know and he even tried to fight Temari. He's also the leader of his own squads.
