like you know, one can create shadow clones who have all the basic properties a regular human have.
naruto have also shown to create shadow clones who can bleed and stuff...
Naruto have also shown that it is not necessary that shadow clones will disappear upon impact and then there are wood clones who also do not disappear after impact.

And we know a shadow clone is created from nothing but chakra.

Now we also know from madara's case that EMS users do not lose their eye after using izanagi.

SO when sasuke is in danger, Itachi's chakra and itachi's MS will react and automatically cast izanagi, which will recreate his body and save sasuke from that danger.
Itachi will be back in action.

Itachi had a super izanagi that he cast before he murdered the clan and it was set to time delay for when obito dies. It then reverses time back to right before he killed the uchiha but itachi keeps his knowledge if the future. He uses this to become the knowledge and kills Danzig instead if his clan uses shisuis eye to save his clan. He then proceeds to become hokage and stop all the plans of obito once again using shisuis eye to turn him good. He steals naruto tnj power and casts a super tnj with the help of shisuis eye and makes the world peaceful and the manga then changes it name to itachi.
