Is kishi lengthening Naruto?

I think kishi is trying to lengthen Naruto.In the last chapter it seems that itachi and sasuke are united and itachi promised to talk to him later.So it seems that sasuke will no longer be in hatred(i guess) so we may not see sasuke and naruto fight in this battle which is said to be inevitable.Kishi often said this in his interview that Naruto and Sasuke will fight and that will be the end of the series.So seeing how the story is going now i think he is trying to lengthen the story.It is just my guess tho.What do you guys think?:shrug:

well i think the prophecy said Naruto would fight a man with powerful eyes. . seems like now that the prophecy might be referring to Naruto fighting Tobi instead? just my 2 cents. correct me if I'm wrong by all means.

No don't think so but there is another generation coming after or so it was rumored and Itachi lied again if they stop the edo he won t be talking with sasuke.

There are lots possibilities referring to Naruto's enemy with "powerful eyes": Madara, Tobi, Sasuke, the elder son and many more (maybe Hinata? LOLJK).

It feels like he is trying to bring the series to an end, and its just taking alot of closing up loose bonds before he can finish the series feeling he left his fans satisfied
