Is Kishi giving us hints about Sasuke?

I remember a thread a while back which took the Tobi=Obito reveal, and found a bunch of hints throughout the manga which showed Tobi and Obito saying similiar things. What I want to do with this thread is look at some manga panels involving Sasuke and evaluate whether these could be pointing us in the direction he's going to choose.

I decided to make this thread, because aside from the things Sasuke has been saying lately I also find some of the panels very similar to earlier panels and think the side by side comparison is very interesting..

Similarity between conversations

One thing I think is very interesting is the side by side comparison of Naruto's talk with Pain and Sasuke's brief talk with Oro about his new state of mind

Let's take a look:

Now how I think this is relevant to Sasuke.
1- In both conversations, Naruto and Sasuke can not forgive the one who inflicted their pain.
2- Sasuke wants to understand everything to make his own decision, Naruto understands Pain but still can not forgive him
3- Naruto has Jiraiya who because of Jiraiya's feelings spares Pain, Sasuke has Itachi whose feelings we don't know whether Sasuke will respect.

My Conclusion- Sasuke will respect Itachi's feelings in a way similar to the way Naruto acted out of respect for Jiraiya's.

Of coarse another aspect that I want to point out but couldn't find manga panels important enough to include is the fact that both Minato and Itachi entrusted their loved ones with additional power.
1- Minato entrusted Naruto with 1/2 of Kurama's chakra
2- Itachi entrusted Sasuke with MS and his eyes for EMS

I know random images of Naruto are more common than they probably should be, but I think that given the subtle Naruto/Sasuke connections maybe we should be taking them more as hints towards Sasuke's redemption rather than just emphasizing their odd connection to one another.

Conclusion:

Taken as a whole I think that several of the images and conversations that Sasuke has been in/had since he has met Edo Itachi are meant to mirror some of Naruto's previous conversations/actions and build upon Naruto and Sasuke's connection, to show not only that Naruto is going to be involved in Sasuke's redemption but that they are similar and that Naruto's previous actions can provide us insight into how Sasuke will start to act.

Agree, when you really think about it Sasuke's actions have been starting to mirror Naruto's actions. And Oro did say that the village does still have sentimental value, I think this is all leading up to him changing.

Aside from that my thoughts differ from yours about this matter. I don't think it is anything about showing connections between naruto and sasuke but giving Naruto and Sasuke similar experiences which aid towards their growth as a character and normally has them following parallel paths.

Like how naruto stands above konoha at day and says it hasn't changed one bit and sasuke standing above konoha at night and saying it has changed quite a lot. I don't believe these scenes showing any connections but parallels. They do have similar experiences though as you have showed greatly in this thread. Good job!

Actually I did post that one... but yeah sorry I didn't see your thread.. this was more of a build upon a thread I did awhile ago comparing Naruto's talk with Nagato to Sasuke's talk with Oro which I opened this with.

I agree with this kind of evaluation too... In fact I think it might be better, since in all my examples there is similarity but not exactly sameness... But I kind of think Sasuke is going to end up redeemed which is why I took the stand I did... But I do have sympathies for your point of view as well

Yeah I also think Sasuke is going to be redeemed... The parallel could mean that they are different people and come about their realizations in different ways but inevitably arrive at the same goal. I just think that these parallels have to have some meaning and seeing how Sasuke isn't batsh*t insane anymore it must mean he is going to be redeemed..

Well I don't think sasuke is going to join madara and obito so you are wrong. But I do believe sasuke might help the alliance to end this. But even if he doesn't I still feel he will be against the leaf and naruto until after their final battle.

Of course sasuke will be redeemed at the very end and naruto will finally save his friend

I love it when I get such positive feedback! Thanks. Honestly I was kinda depressed I couldn't think of more, but I may expand on this idea in a few chapters if I see more that I can work with.
