The only kid left in that color picture from a few months back that hasn't been introduced in the manga yet? I get that they're rehashing the movie but he seems about the same age as them so maybe his absence gives weight to the theory that he's not really a ninja to begin with? We haven't seen him in the series outside of the flash-forward, although there are some Kawaki look-alikes as background characters.

I'm hoping they can at least properly intro him in the first real issue. The only crappy part is we don't know ike that much so until these rehashes are done we don't have much to go on as far as how his story telling and plot pacing will be

I'm mad that they wasted this opportunity to not show Kawaki in the Chunin Exams, but that would make the Movie a retcon. Causing people to not the Manga seriously or the Movie, due to the problems.

Sigh just another 3 more months (we are half way through this crap) before we get into the new content. Luckily school is starting so I'll be focused on other things.
