I just cant say karin is stronger than sakura right now. I am thinking what alot of fans are which is "where the hell was all this power when saskue was fighting the raikage or danzo, i mean come on , Karin showing up this one time with a powerful attack just isnt enough in the feats dept for me. All we have ever seen from karin is her in the background talking about whats happening while the other ninja fight (kinda reminds me of part 1 sakura to be honest) for the most part karin skill are support based. At least sakura had a head-to-head actually life and death fight, even if she had help from lady chiyo. So ultimately yes Sakura might be stronger in combat at the current moment, but as far as medical potential goes she is completely outmatched by Karin, even Tsunade can't match Karin there. However Sakura will NEVER have more potential than Karin, if Karin got even a little training with those abilities she would be a ninja of few peers in the modern naruto verse.

I am comparing the characters the manga gave us, nothing else, i am not making up alternative stories.
So what if Sakura trained with Tsuande, why would that make her any less impressive? Potential? You think that if Karin would have trained with Tsunade she would be more powerful and/or useful? That is an hypothetical theory. But is debatable as well, Sakura is the only confirmed pupil of Tsunade that was able to master Byakugou, even Shizune couldn't because it requires extremely precise chakra control, what do we know about Karin's chakra control? Nothing. What do we know about her battle skills? Not much.
Her regeneration is impressive, I never denied it, but It requires a lot of chakra. She was always a sensor, so it is not safe to say she never used chakra before, or try to justify with that why her chakra reserves are low.
With Byakugou you can only recover yourself, unlike Karin's skill, but last much longer in a fight than her ability due to the seal, which is basically chakra stored for 3 years.

Sakura didn't became great at chakra control with Tsunade, she has always been, since part 1, that's why she was the perfect candidate to be her pupil. There is no evidence of what Karin could have done, I have already proved chakra control isn't for everyone since an older Tsunade's pupil, Shizune, wasn't able to master the most complicated technique Tsunade has. So what makes you think Karin would be any different? But, forget about Tsunade, If she had another trainer, whoever this would be, maybe she could have become a more powerful Kunoichi, but this is just too far-fetched, I can't believe i am playing your game.

Ok, this is what bugs me. Kishi did a huge "Let's make Karin OP out of nowhere" nonsense. Did he forget that Sasuke stabbed Karin and she almost DIED?! She laid there while Sakura healed her. Now out of nowhere she's going to use Kushina's attacks and have spiral Zetsu gut her pretty much and she bites herself to heal herself.... Come on Kishi. That was a big ass pull, even for you. Maybe someone could argue the reason Karin didn't do anything to heal herself when Sasuke stabbed her was the emotional betrayal she felt, and now with Sasuke seemingly dead, the emotion moves to panic and rashness. Kishi did very poorly in developing Karin's character imo, Tobi/Obito told her to stay out of the way with the fight with Danzo and Sasuke. She's stood by the sidelines pretty much healing Sasuke and feeling chakra.
Sakura has developed strong abilities over time and has earned them by Kishi's story telling. Karin's OPness out of nowhere is an ass pull.

We've known she was an Uzumaki ever since the Kabuto fight and it was brought up again by Tobirama, obviously this tells you something is gonna happen with her due to being an Uzumaki. Also, why do you think her last name was kept secret?
