Is Kamui the same speed as FTG?

Speed is distance over time. Minato is not moving, he is teleporting, so no time passes when he uses FTG to go from point A to point B. That is what you call instant or instantaneous. Kamui is not instant and it does not works faster than FTG.

No you have to warp in and warp out. The warping takes time, while minato just disappears and immediately reappears.

The only thing about kamui that's instant is the intangibility.

Nothing is instant.
Instant = 0.0000 sec. valid or invalid
"Blip of a eye" maybe is.

FTG need to mark the location.
->Either by special kunai, that was mark (seal); or focus the target, which Minato did.

Kamui is about dimension; of which belong to the rightful owner;
Obito did said about that he required a lot of chakra to sync at Kaguya dimension.
So, it also mean that Kakashi required a lot of chakra in order to kamui, as the eye belong to Obito.
Now that Kakashi without that sharingan eye, his chakra return to normal with reasonable normal ninja chakra.

Kamui is not instant.
If it is instant, how can Obito focus to sync and kamui to Kaguya dimension.

FTG is about Space / Time issue

Example:
Take a piece of paper
Fold from one side to the opposite side, and when at an angle is look like round.
Say the paper from one side to opposite side is 100 cm.
When both side meet, the distance is 0 cm, hence no distance which also mean no space.
No distance could also mean no time needed to travel from one side to opposite side.
This is theory where i read about many years ago, from scientific point.

Instant is not really.
But FTG > Kamui
FTG is about transport from one location to another on the SAME Dimension.
Kamui is transport from One Dimension to Another Dimension.
Dimension could also be a Portal, where it need to open in order to enter.
