I can imagine that if Obito does have more than Kamui, he want's to use them as a last resort thing, considering that both Kakashi, and Obito's sharingan are linked, it would put more strain on them both to try to use amaterasu, susano'o etc, and since he can't just do a time out of a battle to transplant a spare mangekyou that the doesn't have, he's gonna have to either
A. Kill Sasuke and steal his eyes and add in Kamui
B. Go blind
