Is Kamui a 1 shot?

People say Kamui head shot all the time, but in all honesty, Obito head shots himself all the time. That's how he makes himself nearly impossible to hit.

So how does one for if their head goes to that dimension? In time it will, certainly, but it seems like something in the Kamui dimension is still a part of the body and can be reunited with the rest. Maybe it has a 5 minute limit like Obito, and then it's toast? Who knows.

It depends on the situation and also the opponent, Like against sakura it will be one shot, but against naruto kakashi or sasuke you will need more than that

No.
Kakashi's version sucks what Kakashi wants into the other dimension - if Kakashi wants only a part of something to be sucked in, that's what happens (see Gedo Mazo's head or Deidara's arm).

Obito's version, on the other hand, can be used either for defense (intangibility) or to warp things whole. Obito hasn't shown the ability to rip things apart with Kamui, as opposed to Kakashi.

Depends on the person Kamui is being used against. But if you're asking if Kamui is a one shot at the start of a fight, then that's hilariously absurd. Kakashi needs time to build up chakra in his eye so he can use the Kamui as fast as he did his fight against Obito.

But yes... in theory. Kamui'ing someone's head off would more than likely kill anyone (excluding Obito), if Kakashi can survive long enough before he has the ability to do so.

It depends on speed. Naruto, Minato, and Ay are going to be hard to catch with Kamui.

People like Obito are out of the game here, since he can travel back, or cancel it.

His "intangibility" is a result of sucking his own body parts to the Kamui dimension. While it does seem like Obito can only use this on himself, it's still sucking in, just like Kakashi's. But I digress.

Bolded: For example against Susanoo's arrows, I guess?
That took a lot of time. Kakashi didn't even have MS active when the arrows were fired.

I know this. But as the manga has shown us, Kakashi is able to rip things apart with Kamui. Obito doesn't seem to be able to do so.

If Kamui gets you , yeah you're probably over . But it depends on who is the kamui user fighting , it doesn't work on everyone .

Kakashi has displayed quick use of Kamui one time, and hasn't done so since without building up chakra in his eye. It's only plausible to make the assertion that Kakashi built up chakra in his eye prior to facing Sasuke. This should be more than obvious, lets not make ludicrous accusations.

Obito's Kamui does not kill anyone. (Teleportation wholly + Transportation of his own body parts)
But Kakashi's Kamui can kill anyone. (Teleportation wholly + Transportation of someone else's body parts, means can kill them)

Hence Kakashi's Kamui can one shot anyone.
Kakashi's Kamui is for Offense
Obito's Kamui is for defense.

Well yes and no. Kakashi did have MS active when he Kamuied Sasuke's Susanoo arrow. Sasuke went off on him about it a non Uchiha having the MS during that little bout. But at the same time we didn't actually see Kakashi build up chakra to activate MS. My guess he did it before hand knowing who he was about to face. Everything else I agree with you on.

So if Obito had both his eyes he would not only be able to use Kamui defensively but offensively as well.......Scary

First of all - this statement would imply that Kakashi has magically lost his ability to use Kamui without concentration, which, I think, is nonsense.
Second of all, he only needed to build up chakra for really massive Kamui: Gedo Mazo's head or the Juubi (with Kurama's cloak).
No noticeable build up took place when he warped his raiton kunai.
The same goes for Rasengan and Naruto's clone - you might argue that he was preparing for it, but in these two cases the timing was crucial. Kakashi was not focusing on building chakra, but on using Kamui exactly at the right moment.
And, as I said, Susanoo's arrows confirm that Kakashi doesn't need chakra build-up for small to medium sized objects.

It's only plausible to make the assertion that Kakashi built up chakra in his eye prior to facing Sasuke. This should be more than obvious, lets not make ludicrous accusations.

That's not an assertion, that's an assumption. The arrows took Kakashi off-guard, assuming he was prepared to use Kamui before that, especially considering the fact he didn't even have Mangekyo active, is speculation going as far as implying that MS techniques can be prepared before activating MS itself.

Of course, he had MS active, but my point was, he still had 3 tomoe when the arrows were launched - which means he not only managed to use two Kamui fast enough to warp them, but also activate MS altogether before that.

This....notice obito is basically always on defense with kamui cus the only way he sucks a person in is when he has a firm grip on the person

I think a reverse summon can counter it then theres timing needs to be in sync.

Nope, it can't. It was clearly stated that ST ninjutsu is not generally connected to each other, so summonings do not use (or work between) kamui dimension.
