Is Kakuzu underrated?

I actually agreed 100 with bogard, kakuzu had been trolled like no other shinobi in history by the plot no jutsu, and his doom was against the sage of the plot no jutsu, uzumaki naruto.

Lets be real.
Kakuzu got into a 10 vs 1 dude battle
Kakashi got a raikiri on his heart because kakuzu was not expecting that kakashi was in the shadows waiting to analyze his jutsu them stab him in the back without notices..
kakuzu lost his eart jutsus and his diamond armor because of that seted traped.
Even with that the guys kept fighting like a boss against the konoha fellows, it was needed a stragedy from shikamaru, who expended days planing.

The kagebushin trick was pure bullshit because of this..
the rasen shuriken creates a kind of chakra preasure and noise, at least at that beta stage of the jutsu!
Kakauzu would had notices if naruto creates a new one from behind.

The problem with must akatsuki and the way they were defeated, most of them was not even a clean 1v1 battle. must like all with knowledge vs that bad guy. if yamato or kakashi would had no been there. kakuzu would have been the victor.

In the war he was trolled by 2 noobies. lol

I would hardly say plot killed him seeing as how anyone could have been fooled by several shadow clones.

Well it seems unlikely that Kakuzu (who was in a calm sense of mind) would fall so easily to that trick.

1. He is in long range mode.....why in the world would he jump towards an enemy: DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF RANGE
2. He has decades of expirience....I honestly can't believe that he has never fought against clone techniques before...and that no one has ever tried to mix in with the clone population.
3. He was just hit from behind with practically the same attack format just seconds ago. If he attacked from behind the first time...why not think he may try it again?!


OT: Yeah he gets underrated simply because he never was given a large role. I wish Kisame, Sasori, and Kakuzu had found a way to live into this war...that way they could have advanced on the battlefield as acting commanders!

Imagine Kisame on the Coastline with all that water XD. Imagine Kakuzu wrecking havok on the Second division with his advantage over Taijutsu and his masks for ranged attacks!

Sasori got screwed over during the war, but he too could have had a cool part were he actively fighting on one of the battlefields!

Kakuzu didn't show his full potential.

When he fought against Hashirama, he hadn't Jiongu, so he had only Doton.
And in the manga/anime, he showed only one Doton technique - Domu no jutsu.
Don't tell me that Kakuzu had only one technique when he fought against him.

I Don't believe that he is overrated nor underrated, he went against Naruto and essentially lost. Giving that he was hurt, and pretty worn out, but never the less i still believe that he showed us what he was capable off...

if he survived an encounter with Hashirama , god damn in his younger years he must have been on atleast current Naruto or Sasuke's level
even then he was still lucky
