Kakashi has been "missing" from the fight for a long time now, stuck in the Kamui dimension waiting for his chakra to return to a level suitable to get back and fight, but is his absence symbolic to Naruto's growth as a ninja?
In almost every fight, Naruto has had a superior of some sort backing him up, or vice versa, whether it be Kakashi, Yamato, etc.
But now that Kakashi is no longer in the fight, for now, Naruto has had to "fend for himself" so to speak.
Granted his father and the other Kage are there, Naruto is pretty much fighting this fight with the help of his friends alone, or the next generation of Village superiors.
Do you think this is in some way symbolic to Naruto's and the other Shinobi's growth to no longer need assistance from their teachers, and they can now leave the Village's to them without any worries.
This is just sometyhing I've been pondering as to why kakashi has been gone for so long now.
But let me know what you guys think.
( Provide reasoning for any further arguements , don't just say something with no support to it )
