Is Kakashi nerfed?

You don't need a Sharingan for that shit however it is dangerous that way.

Without the Sharingan he is much weaker though. His Kamui hax is gone.

Hate to say it but if you read the Manga the Sharingan didn't really make Kakashi that much stronger.

When you spent almost 20 years with a Sharingan and then loose it you surely need to train a lot to compensate which he didn't really had to do with peace, and knowing that 99,999% of ninjas are weaker than him even in that state. But don't forget he was a genius of ninjutsu, who can know what he became now more than ten years after?

Dude him having the sharingan doesn't mean he was that much stronger. It gave him one new jutsu, that's it. This is like saying a black puppy with a white spot on his tail is better than one which doesn't have a spot simply because it has a spot.

No, in fact it's the complete opposite, DMS with Sage chakra was the biggest asspull in the entire manga and somehow his stamina increased when he was already past his prime, he shouldn't have been able to spam Kamui in the war arc.

Eh. I reckon the sharingan hindered him more often than it actually helped. Chakra drain, used it like a crutch instead of developing his skills/abilities on his own.

Being the son of the White Fang, there's a legit reason for him to be OP - without it being a huge stretch of the imagination. Without a sharingan or associated techniques.

Obviously losing the sharingan was a hefty blow (no precog, chidori, kumui or genjutsu even though the last was a filler feat) but that's not to say he's not still a great shinobi. These days he gets buy just with his awesome brains plus he should still be able to perform his 1000 copied jutsu that we never saw. Also the novel gives him 'Shiden" purple lightning? Or something.

With sharinghan, kakashi is definitely top10.
As much as I like kakashi but I don't think he even can defeat zabuza without sharinghan.

Or he can just create S-rate jutsu. As he always was supposed to do. Sharingan just gave him the ultimate jutsu, but it made him dependant, he should have created S Jutsu instead of copying 1000 jutsus.

It is a nerf, but we have to take into consideration that he could've inherited his father's potential which had the power to exceed any of the Sannin's level of strength. Kakashi's pretty damn strong regardless of whether or not he has the Sharingan.
