All the while Kakashi has used the kamui technique throught the series he has never shown sighns of losing even a bit of his sharingan vision. It's true however that I can't remember him ever bleeding out of his eye before so who knows. Personaly I don't think the kamui causes the user to go blind unlike the MS techniques of Itachi and Sasuke's amaterasu, tsukyomi, and susanoo. Even Tobi shows no sighns of losing his sight yet uses the kamui much more than Kakashi.

No, he isnt going blind. If you read on he sent the clone of Naruto to the Kamui dimension so when Tobi went there to dodge an attack, Naruto would be able to hit him.
It was a ploy by Kakashi and Naruto so that they would be able to hit Tobi.

Y'all must have forgotten the part where he said he could do Kamui a few more times. He's fine and my no means is he at his limit or at a point where he'll lose his light.

I think its possible that Kakashi got an eternal MS right off the bat, but it's just an idea.

You have to kill your best friend to get the MS
Then you have to steal another Sharingan to get eternal MS

But what if it's not the act of "murder" that unlocks the MS, but some kind of emotional connection from the death of the close one, and having to be near when it happens?

So basically, what if he fulfilled both requirements at the same time by getting Obitos eye? Best friend dead, friends eye check.
