Is Kaguya a human?

She came from a land far away and it doesn't matters where exacly sounds to me like an excuse to tell to an human who doesn't know about aliens. The byakugan could be an ability of the alien race. Boosted with chakra from earth could result in a mutation creating other ocular powers. The fact that indra/ashura look human is because their grandfather was a human like their mother. If there's really an alien race behind kaguya, this could be the beginning for a whole new plot, like others come to earth too or whatever. It would in some kind resemble the theory that aliens showed us how to build pyramids and then slowly mixing with us..

Thee fact that Hagomoro said Kaguya came to Earth from a very far away place is obvious that She is an alien.

I think she is an alien from another planet. I think that the inhabitants of that planet generally had no special powers and were human like except for rabbit-like appendages (the horns and stuff like that). However, Kaguya came to earth where the shinju was to get the fruit (thus granting her the powers she has).
