Is Kabuto's Snake Sage Incomplete?

Here are some facts regarding sage mode.

1. Jirayia showed us an incomplete toad sage mode.
Having physical traits of his altered in the transformation and requiring Ma and Pa toad to hold the transformation.

2. Naruto is the first to perfect toad sage mode.
With no physical changes really. Unless you call funky pupils a change.

3. Kabutomaru is the first none Toad Sage we have seen.

4. A change in the pupils seem to be sign of Sage Mode. :whoa: That being said we could possibly assume Orochimaru had Snake Sage as well. (Him and Kabuto have the same pupils)


Now Kabutomaru is xdclearlyxd not a perfect transformation?? He HAS no legs and a snake tail. Isn't that a clear sign of an incomplete or at best a semi sage mode??
Or maybe he went all Orochimaru on himself and hacked his legs off and attached a snake to him to somehow further increase his sage power which he obtained prior to all that, Orochimaru clearly had legs.

An added fact. One of Snake Sages capabilities seem to be the manipulation of your own physical body to resemble that of a snake.... so many questions.

So is Kabutomaru a complete snake sage?
And was Orochimaru the true first snake sage? (note: not the first true snake sage)

I thought that as well and I would say kabuto was not a perfect sage as he had all those snake features.
Orochimaru must have been the only perfect snake sage which explains his general strength and speed.

This. And Kabuto does have legs.... If you're talking about when he captured Yamato and was shown without legs, I pretty sure it was him just transforming back into himself from his true form.

Well, I'd assume Kimimaro because he could deal with the curse mark and on top of that he had a bone Kekkei Genkai.

Imagine a bone Kekkei Genkai on top of snakes on top of sage mode on top of insane knowledge. Orochimaru was going to be nearly unbeatable if he had Kimimaro as his vessel.

Well he had Sage eyes. And its true his body was degrading due to his Jutsu. The reanimation jutsu he used to obtain vessels could have been a sage type jutsu to start with

Jiraiya looked MORE like a toad with LESS mastery of sage mode. Naruto looks LESS like a toad with MORE mastery of sage mode.

if your going by looks........

how powerful a sage kabuto was is up for discussion.

Itachi finished him fast and efficiently. classic itachi character move.

we don't know what coulda shoulda woulda happened had kabuto been allowed to showcase more sage power.

the snake body and other things he does to his body are from all the experiments and it is orochimaru style to be disgusting. i wouldn't attribute all those disgusting characteristics with Dragon/snake sage mode. i would stick with the eyes only theory.
