[Discussion] Is Juubi really completely mindless?

So I've been thinking is Juubi really completely mindless? Let's see the facts: in chapter 629 at page 6 we see that through the Juubi's eyes, Juubi can see in Naruto the other tailed beasts and also looks at naruto as if he is the sage.

After that it starts gathering chakra most probably in an attemp to launch another powerful attack.
So I've been thinking... the first time Sage fought Juubi, ofc we don't know anything about the battle but since the nine tailed beasts have not been born yet, Juubi wasn't sensing anything at all. In contrast to that time, the nine tailed beasts now were now alive and also they have taking a liking to Naruto. So, I believe that based on page 6 we see that Juubi has started to develop a specific behavior towards Naruto and that's why it was gathering chakra because he sees him as a threat. Ofc it's too soon to jump into conclusions just yet but I'm just saying. Tell me what you think about it.

Also there is an alternative for how exactly Naruto got Shukaku's chakra which is that even though Shukaku did not appear along with the others beasts, this may only happened because Gaara wasn't with him but otherwise he may have given its chakra to Naruto without simply showing it.

Well I wouldn't say a fully developed mind certainly it's not completely mindless as we all first thought.

The Juubi does have a mind of its own, and it has been waking up more and more, this last chapter showed us that upon seeing Naruto somewhat Sage like, the Juubi got pissed and popped some Steroids to buff up!
Though at first it was a mindless drone.

Everything that uses Chakra has a mind/personality. The toads, the slugs, even Kakashi's dogs, it would be odd if the God of Narutoverse doesn't have a mind/personality.
