Is Jugo Paranoid or is Kishimoto planting the seeds for upcoming events....

Jugo has been doubting Sasukes intentions, and now even Orochimaru.

This could lead Sasuke and Orochimaru flipping back to the darkside later on.
Otherwise Jugo is being too worrisome for his age. Kishi please give the guy a peace of mind.

I think juugo is of a kind and pure heart, a prisoner of such devastating ability that has hindered the ability to lead a life of a common folk. He has reason to worry, he cares for his comrades even if they stray from the path of sanity.

Juugo isn't being paranoid, but Orochimaru at the same time isn't plotting anything.

The characters around Orochimaru have yet to understand his new outlook on life.

Android 16 UHHH I MEAN JUUGO!!! Yeah Juugo. He's an intuitive guy. Something is definitely up, and there are schemes being schemed that we don't know about(obviously). Orochimaru will strike soon....I think. I felt a mild sense of forshadowing when Suigetsu was naming the alias' Kabuke and Sasuto. He claims he's not interested, but Kabuto really has this seemingly pissed expression on his face. He's holding a lot of animosities against Orochimaru, and I can't think of a better way to get back at him. However, I don't know what state Oro is in right in terms of recovery/readiness to fight at full power. Guess we'll see.

He wasn't wrong about doubting Sauske & he is clearly not wrong about Oro either ....Kishi has been using Jugo to give us little hints here & there .

Sai, and Sakura have also been giving little hints.....its just Kishi's way of trying to keep Sasuke on the dark side of things, even though he just had touching moment with his brother. Kishi want to make sure when Sasuke does go dark side again, at least it wasn't out of no where or wasn't too unexpected.

It's orochimaru, it would be suspicious if no one was suspicious of him .

Remember Orochimaru and Sasuke had a private speech about Orochimaru's true intentions for attacking the Leaf Village. Now they seem to get along pretty well so I think they are both plotting something. Kishimoto would not waste panel time on Jugo unless he was foreshadowing something. Stronger foreshadowing is how Karin sensed evil from Kabuto and Orochimaru mentioned the possibility that it was due to remnants of his chakra within him. As such, Orochimaru is still very much a malignant person and probably final villain.

I don't trust much Kishi foreshadowing anymore, especially after the whole "mystery man has evil chakra" thing Lol

Lol, you're right, GhostProject. Kishimoto definitely mislead us with the Kabuto thing...But that's pretty minor and was done on purpose to make people wonder. Foreshadowing is a completely different thing than misleading.
