Lol when those "2 moves and a few sealing techs" havent been countered in the user's lifetime, I dont think Itachi becomes underrated when being compared to Minato.

Itachi is actually underrated.

First of all, he makes Sasuke look like a first grader. People are all about saying how bada** Sasuke is, but he is still a wimp compared to his brother.

Next, out of all the legendary Ninja commanded by the Edo Tensei, only one broke from its control: Itachi. Everyone is on Hashirama's nuts, on pain's nuts, on Madara's nuts. And they are all under the control of Edo Tensei. Itachi is ridiculous...he seems to be as smart, if not smarter than, Mr. Shadow Weave.

Let's not forget he single-handedly wiped out arguably the most powerful clan...the Uchiha's. He was too much of a match for Sasuke, so basically suicided since he cannot kill his brother. So we've never seen anyone who can keep up with Itachi.

Also, Itachi dies pretty young. Many make the argument that Minato was the strongest Kage had his potential been fulfilled. Cannot the same be said of Itachi, who seems unmatched but is so young?

Sasuke actually saved Itachi twice in this battle. and he doesn't have the luxury of being edo tensei.

Itachi escaped edo tensei by mere chance, he said so himself

we don't know anything about the massacre, except that it was a surprise attack, tobi helped out and the police force were freaking weak. yeah he was more powerful than hebi sasuke, but then again, so was deidara. there were a lot of akatsuki members who would have beaten him, like sasori,kakuzu,nagato,kisame,possibly hidan.

and itachi's ms makes it impossible for him to peak. he PEAKED, before part 1, when he got the spiritual items. ms jutsu and izanami aren't so appealing when you end up bouncing off walls.
