Is Itachi Impervious to Genjutsu?

OP: Nope. He should be able to break almost every visual genjutsu. Genjutsu that affects the target using the other senses is a different story though.

Yeah, I just rewatched Kurenai vs Itachi, and Itachi stated that "Genjutsu on the level doesn't work on me." So he implies that a higher level of Genjutsu does work.

And I just remembered that Itachi and Sasuke had to use Genjutsu on each other to escape Kabuto's Genjutsu.

Anything under Sage Gejutsu fails.
He was only caught in it because he couldn't stop edo if he Instasoloed kabuto but still a feat for bro.


He can clearly tell when under though and wasn't trippin at all.. kishimoto would have have him some haxx genjustu breaking tech if sasuke didn't follow which He intended to elude.
