alot would say he was a great brother and he really was, but others would say he manipulated a tortured sasuke .... :sy::sy: but sasuke is alive coz of what itachi did and thats what matters not how did sasuke feel... what did you expect from itachi to make sure sasuke is alive and getting stronger in that situation an not hurt his feelings xd
Now itachi is always an interesting character, he killed his hall clan (including his father and mother) for what he saw as greater good and i wish to know every ones opinion on this area ? ..... me i admire his very very difficult decision of killing a 100 to save a 1000 BUT would you do the same in that situation ??U_U does killing his clan an his parents make him a good guy ?

From the manga's perspective I'm pretty sure he's more of a good guy than other-wise. Eg. I'm pretty sure Kishimoto would say that Itachi is a hero or at least not a villain if you were to interview him now.

What you're referring to are some of the readers' perspectives who do not approve of Itachi's actions or the way he went about doing things like forcing Sasuke under the influence of Tsukuyomi.

Are you questioning Itachi? Itachi was 16 when this happened. Danzo is like 87. Danzo couldn't even raise his hand to commit suicide. Itachi did it all on his OWN after experiencing a war when he was 4 YEARS OLD. Itachi basically commit suicide without anyone telling him to do it. He saved his brother and died to be considered the villain instead of the hero. He dishonored his name to keep the Uchiha name untainted. Danzo even said he was a true shinobi during his fight with Sasuke when he had him paralyzed.

ITACHI> DANZO ANYYY DAY. Itachi is the epitome of shinobis and all should aspire to be like him.
