So let him die now or prolong his life? Gee I wonder. Btw where you getting this dirty blood from? A puddle outside? Hospitals screen for disease.

My grandmother is a Jehovah's Witness and she'd straight up let my ass die if I ever needed blood and she were the only one who could provide it.

JW's almost always use incredibly outdated information (I'm talking decades, sometimes even CENTURIES old facts) to back up their batshit crazy beliefs about how bad blood transfusions are. If you live in Canada or France or any country with great health coverage, or any country that isn't in Africa really, there are medical standards for these kinds of things. You can be assured that all donated blood has been examined. The odds are incredibly low that any illness or disease could come as a result of this, and in any case a blood transfusion will still save a life even if it comes at the cost of an illness. JW's will still argue "well even if it's a 0.0000001% chance, there's still a chance!" **** that logic. If you're going to use that reasoning, you should probably not do things like drive cars or travel. Much larger chance of your ass getting ****ed up from a car crash than from a blood transfusion going wrong.

Actually ,doctors just use blood tranfusion as a preliminary solution..i mean, its like if theres something wrong, transfuse blood and see where it takes us..

While everything they say is true, about advanced hospital that checks blood, the problem is not in the blood itself,it would be on the receiver, whether his/her body will accept the foreign blood..thats things hospital cant control..and taking about life, we cant take any chances..

There are so many alternatives regarding these..and some tertiary hospitals(adv. hospital) recommends "blood less" procedure..
The benefit would be ofcourse: eleminating ANY possibilites of blood bourne disease and complications, since we're not using blood..
And it will also lessen the hospital stay..also financially helpful..

You can always research this alternatives to BT..for example is plasma expanders, or is your child gonna undergo operation?there is this thing called blood less operation..you can search on it..

Lastly, you can always get a 2nd opinion from other doctors..it wundt hurt,it would give you lots of choices to choose from..

Just so you know i didnt made this up,im a nurse in my country..

Glad to give information to you..and i hope your child gets better..
