Is it wrong to find homosexuality disgusting?

Personally, I never liked homosexuality and always found it to be gross in some way. It's just my personal preference, I guess. However, that doesn’t mean I go around disrespecting their human rights.

Q: Do people find this view offensive? If so, can’t this same principle apply to obesity as well? I find obese people disgusting but I treat them with respect as I would with any other individual.

I was watching the news one day after they legalized gay marriage in California. My little brother was right next to me, and they actually televised a gay wedding. Two men making out on the news no less.

I was kind of pissed my little 6 year old brother was being exposed to that crap and changed the channel. Nothing against gays, let them get married and whatnot, but don't advertise that shit in front of kids Lol

Its not "wrong" to find it repulsing. You reserve the right to your own opinion. What is wrong is openly going out and attacking people for any reason. Im not gay, but I can at least appreciate and accept people who are. Are you [not you personally, but in general] seriously going to attack someone because they find happiness in something you don't? If you only enjoy chocolate pudding cups would you attack the people who enjoy the vanilla pudding cups? People who would disgust me. Again, I respect your opinion. Not really. I don't find it disgusting at all, and I've no issues with those who have that stance on homosexuals. It's when they start spouting it as if it's true is when things start getting nasty. I find obesity a little disgusting, but that does not and will not prevent me from treating them with respect, as I do for most other humans beings.

I don't think it's wrong, you don't disrespect them anyway. It's just how you view homosexuality and it can't be denied that majority of people view it that way too, that's why it's still an issue and not fully accepted in our society. I don't think there's anything wrong with being grossed by these kinds of things or any other stuff we just can't help it. However, people shouldn't assume that's all there is to them. I used to be grossed out by them(I knew that it was natural and all), now I am just neutral with them. The people that dislike homosexuality and the ones that call them homophobe are just as bad as each other.
