Someone told me that they won't make AOT season 2 because the sales went down

Is it true ?

If it is ,its so disappointing since the anime was so popular ,the manga is doing great as well.

Its just don't make sense.

I'd like the source too that, because that claim seems completely ridiculous. The Attack on Titan anime was a HUGE success, and the time off that the show is on is only making it even more popular because fanboys can't keep it in their pants long enough for it too continue.

The manga may not be doing well but, the anime did so well that they're definitely not going to cancel it. The manga does have poor quality art though, that may be why.
