[Question] Is it really worth starting?

I mean, with so many episodes it seems so threatening right now. Is it really worth all those episodes?

Are there any boring parts or overlong build-up I should know about at the start? I've read one chapter on holiday once I think it was an Ace/Luffy flashback with Sabo?

Well I recently started watching it and I´m loving it. People say it takes a bit of time to get exciting and all that but I personally enjoyed every arc so far.

Very likeable characters and the humor is excellent.

One Piece has such great backstory that it seems almost real , the flashbacks are welcomed because they are good , the humor is great , the action is greater and the diversity and fact we see no end to it makes it even better!

One piece in my opinion is the greatest ongoing manga right now

I just barely started watching it. For me, its starting to build up kind of slow in my opinion. I will continue to start watching it because thats obviously not a reason to stop reading/watching it. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it gets bad ass.

Well normally a good gist of the show is watch until you finish the arlong park, gives a good preview into the show but it gets much better than that, hopefully u haven't seen too many one piece spoilers.

as for the OP: if you are going to watch the anime, then skip fillers only, and not anything else.

to be honest the whole mystery of the One Piece itself is probably enough to get me watching. Might start watching in english 4kids dub just for lolz

I started watching it 1 month ago and am on episode 345 and in the start it seems pretty boring but still Hilarious and after you reach the Alabasta arc it gets interesting

I think it's worth watching because it's so different and unique than many other animes out there. The thing about it I like the most is how unpredictable it is. You'll never know what will happen next. Besides that it contains so many hilarious and sad moments for each character that you can't help falling in love them.
