I need your opinion on the following scenario:

Long story short: I might have to leave the current place I'm staying at, so my question is could it work if I were to live homeless out of a bag and maintain my job? I would shower, brush teeth and shave at my workplace. Wash clothes at a laundry mat, but live on the streets. I have a scooter for transportation.

I would have to do this for 2 weeks. My problem is having an alarm clock though. What could I do about waking up in time for work? Could this work until I could rent out a place?

SERIOUS QUESTION, MY LIFE JUST HIT THE FAN.

Do you have a phone that has an alarm?

Are there any friends or family members you can stay with?

No phone.

No family, all alone in the big city.

Oh no honey.

You need to find the nearest homeless shelter.
You can't stay out on the streets.

Some homeless people, well in your case, homeless for a short minute, it can work out.
You need to atleast get a homeless shelter, and if not, try to get a motel.
Just go to the 99cent store or anything cheapstores. They have stuff like that, or like Erin said your phone.

Don't live in poverity!!! I hope you make it, keeping you in my heart.
Stay strong!!!

Well those of us whose friends aren't imaginary would just stay at one of their places.

You might want to rent a place just to be safe, you don't want to end up on the street for 2 weeks. :|

I thought of that, is there battery powered alarm clocks?

I just moved to this city, I don't know anyone.

Ofcourse, there are battery powered alarms clocks, it's 2013.
And next time, don't move to some place where you don't know nobody, cause when this happen?
Who gone have your back?
And if you don't nobody, you better go out and start knowing somebody.

Never know, when stuff like this happens.

Well, yes, you -could- do this.

I would, however, recommend looking for assistance through what is known as "Couch Surfing."

That would be considerably safer than sleeping on the streets.

That, or explain your situation to a coworker and see if there is someone who is willing to put you up for a couple weeks.
