Sharingan users can use a incomplete form of Izanagi which cause the eyes to be sealed forever.
However with the rinnegan and hashirama's dna you can use the full form of Izanagi which only relies on ur chakra.

I'm fairly sure if you can contrl the complete form of izanagi you are able to make it last for a much longer time period. Madara plans to use this complete form of izanagi to cast a genjutsu over the entire world, and because he wil have the power of the bijuu if his plans do come to fruition he will have litmetless chakra, hence he will be able to make it last a very, very long time

so basically madara has the rinnegan for the yin energy and he wants to create the 10 tails again so he needs hashirama's yang (life) energy with his DNA.

so Madara is like god and can create whatever he wants based upon how much chakra he has.

yes for what i know how madara uses it atm is based on how much chakra he has, if he becomes the jinchuuriki of the 10 tails he would be unstoppable and godlike so minashi is right

no madara still has incomplete izanagi. For a complete one you have to have all the paths of the original sage plus the rinnegan. If he would have unlimited izanagi that woulld be just stupid and he would have already translpanted both the rinnegan
