Is it possible to "take" Totsuka and Yata from Itachi´s Susanoo?

Haha, these comments are funny. On a completely un-trolling note yes you can. The two weapons were originally owned by the sage, so at some point or another Itachi actually found them. It has also been noted that Orochimaru had been searching extensively for the Totsuka blade, so obviously it has a physical form.

Just because they are spiritual or ethereal weapons doesn't mean they don't have a physical form (otherwise they wouldn't ever be seen). Ethereal can also mean 'not of this world' so given there relation to the sage they could have be created via creation-of-all-things. But there is nothing to suggest that the sage didn't already have these items before he fought the juubi.

However, back to the topic of the thread. I guess theres a possibility of Minato being able to teleport the Totsuka Blade from Itachis Susanoo, however i am not sure if he could do the same with the Yata Mirror as the Yata Mirror has the ability to change its properties to that of the Jutsu being used against it and thus rendering the Jutsu/attack useless.

Much like if two people with the same eyes try to use the same attack on each other, the attack will be cancelled out.

It makes no sense that some crazed fanboy would make you hate Itachi.

Personally for me, Itachi easilly ranks in highly with my Top Three Ninja. That does not make me a fanboy. I just acknowledge his skills and his backstory to me was deep.

However it doesnt mean i am going to knock Minato just because i come across so many crazed Minato fanboys and fangirls. Give credit where its due, the dudes a boss too.

You shouldnt let it sway you. Aim your irritance at the fanboys/fangirls who blow this whole thing out of proportion. Not the character heh hehe they're making it difficult for us who genuinely favour a true Shinobi of which we have the right to do.

I think it would have been EPIC if Kishi had done an extended battle between the two... but for whatever reason, he didnt. Maybe because they would actually have both seen reason.

You must be registered for see images

You cannot take Susano'o's weapons and use them against the user. The physical presence of those weapons are always under the control of the user, and they can always vanish at will.

@OT: I think the weapons need two things to be passed on.

Willingness of the user to give them away

and

A spiritual being capable of carrying them (Susanoo, Reaper Death God Maybe?) KM naruto?
