[Discussion] Is it possible for Boruto and Himawari to unlock a dojutsu?

We know that both Boruto and Himawari are both Uzumaki and Hyugya, isn't it possible for them to unlock a dojutsu? Even if they don't get Byakugan, would it be possible to gain another dojutsu.

Let say this,
Kaguya she has 2 kids, one has Rinnengan, the other has Byakugan which evolves into Tensaiga.
Hagoromo has 2 kids, one has Sharingan, while the other has a transformation similar to Kyubi Naruto form.

If Kaguya kids has different KKG, different Dojutsu, while Hagoromo the kids has either different Dojutsu with sharingan or different KKG whith Wood element.

Doubtful. Kishi stated he forgot to give them the Byakugan, so anything they unlock will be a massive asspull.

Then again, everything since the war started has been an asspull.

Isn't Naruto The Last done by Kishimoto? If it is shouldn't it be as Canon as Dragon ball BOG and ROF, which is done by Toriyama?

Most likely not. Sharingan needs to activated in order to use, but the Hyuga's Byakugan is suppose to be accessible from birth. So if they don't have it now, then they probably won't get it at all.

Nah. It makes sense that naruto's genes are more dominant. Was not expecting naruto's kid to have the byakugan.

Nah. It makes sense that naruto's genes are more dominant. Was not expecting naruto's kid to have the byakugan.

Why does that make sense? Because Naruto is a guy? Or because he is the main hero? It's not like Hinata isn't a decendant of the Otsusuki clan as well. She too has special chakra but by default Naruto's DNA is automatically more dominant? Genetics don't quite work that way in real life. But don't take this as me disagreeing with you though.

By manga standards I think you would be correct. Just saying is all.

Kishi forgot and has had quite a few chapters to "rectify" that but he has chosen to leave it undone. Kaguya and Hagoromo had döjutsu that would still be powerful if powers were split off to create new dōjutsu. But the Hyūga Byakugan is already at the bottom so if you split it Amy further, you're going to have a very unimpressive dōjutsu.

It's like trying to spawn a 3T Sharingan derivative; a dōjutsu with a single, watered down version of one the aforementioned's abilities. You may as well call it Aldigan.

XD good point. Though since both Naruto and Hinata both possess special Otsusuki chakra, Kishi could have just used that as an excuse to have their kids awaken the Byakugan or even some stronger version of it to knock it up a peg. But I agree, the chance to "rectify" as you so eloquently put it, has passed.

He did (some of) the art for it, but I believe the story itself wasn't his. (kinda like how he designed Shisui's Susanoo for the game)
OT: It might be possible, we'll just have to wait and see. Though if so, I hope Kishi gives them some mutated version and not the standard Byakugan.
