Is it Overrated or Underrated? Yu Yu Hakusho.

This is the third edition of this 'series'. The other anime I covered were Naruto and Bleach. Thanks to 'the big boss', I decided to do Yu Yu Hakusho for my third thread. Do you think Yu Yu Hakusho is overrated or underrated?

Personally, I find Yu Yu Hakusho to be highly underrated. If you didn't know, my avatar and signature both come from YYH. If you don't know what it is, I highly suggest you watch it. It's a shounen that, back in the day, passed even DBZ in TV popularity in the United States. Not to brag, but if something beats out DBZ, let alone in its prime, then that's quite an achievement. This is by far my favorite anime and definitely a classic.

I really enjoyed Yu Yu Hakusho. I never managed to finish it though. I'll have to remedy that sometime.

I don't even remember that show. I think I use to like it. I think it is underrated, in my opinion.

Yu Yu Hakusho was good, I remember watching it as a child. I don't remember it all to well though.

During the time of Yu Yu Hakusho anime wasn't big on the internet, so pretty much any anime during that time did okay.

that's a bit harsh kenshin. i personally liked the final chapter. it was one of the few mangas that didn't have the main character pull an attack/speech out the a** get some random powerup and beat an enemy he/she shouldn't have been able to otherwise. know what i mean?

What is it about? I can see there is fighting but give me an idea of the plot.

Yusuke Urameshi dies by sacrificing himself. Because of his personality and such, Spirit World was not expecting Yusuke to do such a thing and was not ready for Yusuke. Thus, he was given another shot at life, but on one condition: he has to become the Spirit Detective. He pretty much has to stop demons from killing people in the human world, but then that becomes irrelevant after 20ish episodes. Watch it and you'll see why. The Dark Tournament is straight epicness.
