1. I think it'd be a little bit weird for aunts and uncles to bathe with their nieces/nephews. It's not the same as a biological parent.
2. I don't think it's aberrant at all. Up until, say, age 6, a kid probably doesn't know how to properly wash himself. I think it's essential for a parent to bathe with and instruct their child on how to properly take a shower or bath. I remember my taking showers with my mom when I was like 4 or 5. Kids have to learn things somewhere.
