[Discussion] Is it ok for a parent to bath with their child?

1. I think it'd be a little bit weird for aunts and uncles to bathe with their nieces/nephews. It's not the same as a biological parent.

2. I don't think it's aberrant at all. Up until, say, age 6, a kid probably doesn't know how to properly wash himself. I think it's essential for a parent to bathe with and instruct their child on how to properly take a shower or bath. I remember my taking showers with my mom when I was like 4 or 5. Kids have to learn things somewhere.

Well, those people sound like the typical retards and trolls of these days. Of course it's okay to bath with your baby, parents do that, it shouldn't even be a question. If we were talking about a bigger kid a teenager or even adult then that would be a little bit weird but this? this is just pathetic. :wesobi:

Yeah, seems perfectly normal to me for the first few years, especially when the kid is like one or two because the kid will die if it doesn't have help. I'd say it gets weird around age like 6 or something like that.

The common view on this is only to a certain age. Honestly, bathing with an infant is a necessity as a infant in a tub can drown(not to mention how hard it is to clean one).

My view: I say go for it, until they can take care of themself when it comes to hygiene.

It's fine to a certain age I think, maybe around 5-6 at max.
