Is it necessary to bring food on the convention? or is it really allowed?

I’m thinking about attending Anime Midwest 2024 and wondering if it’s worth it. What are your thoughts on anime conventions like this? Is it really good? what are the stuffs that they’re offering there? My friends convinced me to attend but I don’t know if I should go. Here’s the link of their website:

From what I have read about it people are allowed to take water bottles and snacks for personal consumption most of the times. You should check the website of the convention for this specific event for exact details.
