Im so mad at kaguya right now! what type of "overwhelming" villian is she? feels like team 7 just playing hot potato with her right now, passing her around smacking it!
Madara in the other hand really showed god like powers, if it was madara in this chapter he wouldn't have gotten touched he woulda had limbo all over the place dropping meteors with his own susanoo out, it woulda been such a better fight!
Imagine three perfect susanos out while meteors is dropping in the background imagine if limbo madaras have their own susanoo too!!
im frustrated.. Opinions?
Kaguya has great power, but Madara was a legendary warrior. His mastery of his eyes and various other techniques was unrivaled. Madara would have and should have made a much better final boss. Kaguya has a few problems:
1) We still don't know what her motivations are. What does she want and why does she want it? We don't know all the details of exactly what Madara was hoping to accomplish after infinite tsukuyomi was cast, but we know much more about him than Kaguya.
2) The whole manga has been building up to the idea that Madara is this ultimate, legendary warrior. He had Rinnegan, he somehow beat death, he knew about secrets of the universe and was able to gain ultimate power for himself. Compared to Madara, we know almost nothing about Kaguya and don't care about her.
3) Kaguya doesn't talk much, making it hard to understand her motivations.
4) Madara's powers (rinnegan, wood-release, sharingan, jinchuuriki, etc) have all been built up over the course of the manga. We know what Madara's powers looked like when they were used by other people (Nagato, Hashirama, Itachi and Sasuke, Naruto and Bee, etc), and we expect Madara to be able to unify them and take them to the next level. We have no such expectations about Kaguya, because none of her powers have been seen before in any form.
The whole manga was spent showing Naruto and the development of his power and technique. Now, his power is completely different from what it ever has been, making so much of the manga worthless in explaining how he got to where he is now.
Throughout the whole manga, Sasuke was a revenge-minded fool. Suddenly he is a helpful hero type who works well in a team. The whole history of Naruto and Sasuke is wasted because suddenly the dynamic is different.
Through the whole manga, we've been building up to the idea of madara as the final villain. Suddenly he gets killed out of nowhere and the "true" villain is revealed in the form of Kaguya who we do not know and do not care about.
In other words, over 600 chapters of manga have been building up to....something completely new and different that the rest of the manga never built up to.
