I don't like comparing characters like that. If we start comparing Konohamaru with Kakashi, people will just start to become disappointed if he doesn't live up to that standard.

Konohamaru may be the Kakashi equivalent of the new generation, but he is his own character.

He is likeable enough. Kakashi is my favorite from the old gen...but I’m not interested in seeing him become another Kakashi. I’m interested in seeing the man that carries the Sarutobi blood is going to become.

Not even close, don't insult Kakashi sensei. Kakashi would've ordered team 7 like a soldier and or solo'd them. Konohmaru gives an order to go back to Konoha he'll be the decoy, Clone(Boruto) talks some crap and Konohmaru forgets his order and starts smiling like a cheerleader.
