In the overused Minato vs Itachi debate threads, I always take Minato's side, but I am a fan of Itachi regardless of that.

I like Itachi's moveset and how smart he is, the tools that he possesses are really powerful.

But I dislike how heavily he relies on genjutsu. He's also got his share of character flaws that I dislike... like believing that revenge is the right way to make his brother stronger. Also dislike his overconfidence and the hypocrisy and lies he spews. But he's necessary to the story for all of that so I respect who he is to the show.

Liking Itachi, is like liking an amazing singer. Most people like that singer, but the singer's fans suck so much that you start to hate the person as well.

When he first appeared as the super strong unbeatable genocidal psyco he was pretty cool. I liked how his intentions were never blurted out and was still developing even past his death and still developing Sauce.

Yes we are ! You have appreciate what he did for Sasuke and how Sasuke is as strong as he is now is because of him.

its really quite horrifying when you say "waht he did for him". yeah torturing, tormenting, lying, manipulating, and beating someone into a coma withot telling them why or what they are supposed to do, is ok because it makes them stronger.
yeah it did. only sasuke lost his damn mind like anyone would if they were subjected to such horrors.
this is the worst thing asnyones done to another human being in the manga and you say i should appreciate it because it eventally had a good result?
